The popular resort of Fethiye lies 50km southeast of Dalaman Airport. A hill crowned by the ruins of the crusader fortress built by the Knights of Rhodes overlooks the little port. The harbor hosts a smart, palm-lined border, where the locals often sit to drink tea and discuss the events of the day. Surrounded by 12 islands, a perfect place to stop and take in some of the spectacular scenery.
Tourism has had very little impact on the town itself, therefore retaining it's Turkish character, making it a popular resort for all tourists.
